MAYOR'S TREE TOPPING CEREMONY

Santa's tallest helper will complete the decoration of Hawaii's tallest Christmas tree on Friday, December 5 at 5 p.m.  Mayor Mufi Hannemann will ride a cherry picker to the top of the City's Christmas tree on the front lawn of Honolulu Hale during an annual tree topping ceremony.

The 57-foot Norfolk pine tree was generously donated by Mrs. Marie Rose Perry of Aiea and was installed outside Honolulu Hale on Thursday, November 20.  The tree topping ceremony adds the finishing touch to the tree's decorations and kicks off the City employees' annual holiday celebration at Honolulu Hale.
