MAYOR HANNEMANN SUSPENDS PRESS SECRETARY BRENNAN

Mayor Mufi Hannemann today suspended Press Secretary Bill Brennan for five days without pay following Brennan’s Aug. 22 arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

While this incident was in no way related to Brennan’s official duties and the case remains pending, Mayor Hannemann reiterated that he takes all issues of public safety very seriously.

Brennan agreed to the suspension and said he will take full responsibility for his actions.
