CITY’S RENTAL ASSISTANCE (SECTION 8) OFFICE TO TEMPORARILY MOVE

            The City’s Section 8 program office will be moving to temporary quarters at 33 South King Street, #520 and will be open for business on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.  The office will remain there for an estimated 12-18 months while their current offices at the Walter Murray Gibson Building undergo extensive renovations. 

            Existing clients of the Section 8 program who have pre-scheduled appointments with City staff have been and will continue to be informed of this temporary relocation.    

            The new phone number for the Section 8 office will be 768-7096.

            The Department of Design and Construction is in charge of the move and the renovation work.
