ENCHANTED LAKE SEWER BIDS OPENED

            Mayor Mufi Hannemann announced today that Jas W. Glover the apparent low bidder totaling $2.3 million to upgrade the Enchanted Lake Wastewater Pump Station.

            Jas W. Glover bid $2,303,508 to modify the facility.  Modifications include the replacement of two pumps and discharge piping; replacement of the flow meter; replacement of the emergency generator; installation of an underground storage tank; construction of a new electrical building extension; modification of the existing SCADA system to meet the present ENV requirements; modification of the ventilation system; and replacement of the float control system.

            Construction is tentatively set to begin in October and take 720 calendars days to complete.

            The low bidder still must go through a procurement evaluation before the final contract is awarded.
