MAYOR HANNEMANN TO ADDRESS CITY’S ACHIEVEMENTS AND CHALLENGES

 

Mayor Mufi Hannemann will deliver his fifth State of the City address Thursday at the Mission Memorial Auditorium, which he will outline his plans to deal with our economic challenges.

 

The address will be broadcast live on ´Olelo Community Television, Channel 54, from 10 a.m. to 10:58 a.m.

 

“We all know that our economy has declined and many people are suffering,” Mayor Hannemann said. “We also know that it will take leadership, hard work and effective collaboration to bring about the solutions our community needs.”

 

U.S. Senator Daniel K. Inouye and U.S. Senator Daniel K. Akaka are scheduled to attend, along with other leaders from government, business, labor and education.
