CITY ROAD, GOLF COURSES AND PARKS TEMPORARILY CLOSED

          (Tues., Dec. 28, 2010)---A section of Kamehameha Highway is closed between Haiku Road and Kahekili Highway.  It is open only to local traffic due to a collapsed wall posing a possible danger to motorists.

           The City's Ewa Villages and West Loch golf courses remain closed today due to the heavy rains and saturated grounds.  The Ted Makalena golf course is only open on the back nine.

           The City's Waipio Soccer Complex and the Central Oahu Regional Park will remain closed today and tomorrow.  

           The National Weather Service has continued the flash flood watch for Oahu.

           Forecasters continue to predict heavy rainfall and the risk of flash flooding.  Motorists should be aware of road conditions and closures.
