CITY HOSTS "THE MANGO SHOW" (Wed., August 4, 2010) --- Mango season is officially here! In celebration of this delicious summertime delight, Acting Mayor Kirk Caldwell has invited the public to view a special exhibition showcasing the majestic mango like they've never seen it before. The Mango Show will take place in Honolulu Hale from August 9 to 26. Through drawings, paintings, photographs and more, The Mango Show highlights the mango's many shapes, forms, and uses in the islands. "Mangoes are a true gift of the summer season. Here in More than 20 artists from throughout The Mango Show is presented by the Mayor's Office of Culture and the Arts with support from the Hawaii Tourism Authority. Exhibit hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Exhibit viewing is free and open to the public.
