Department of Emergency Management issues “All Clear” for Oahu

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has cancelled the Tsunami Warning for Oahu and the State of Hawaii.  There is no longer a threat to Oahu from a destructive tsunami.  The City and County of Honolulu is issuing an “All Clear” message.

Boaters may return to their moorings.  Road blocks have been lifted and residents may return to their homes.

City buses marked evacuation will assist in returning evacuees that were transported.  All buses will resume their normal City routes.

City Lifeguards will return to all beaches with the exception of Hanauma Bay.  The Public needs to be aware of the continued hazard of surges and unusual ocean conditions.
