BUS SERVICE FOR MAYOR'S MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY 

(Wed., May 25, 2011) − The City will provide shuttle bus service for those attending the Mayor's Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 30, at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, at Punchbowl, where parking is very limited.

The ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m.  Free parking will be available at the Fasi Civic Center garage for motorists who wish to board the bus at the Alapai Transit Center, at the corner of King and Alapai Streets.  Passengers will be picked up there from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.  Destination signs on the departing buses will read "15 Punchbowl," and returning buses will read "15 Alapai Transit Center."

Regular one-way fares of $2.50 for adults, $1.25 for youth (grades 1- 12), and $1 for seniors will apply.  Monthly adult and youth passes will be accepted, and elderly and disabled cards will be honored.
