BROKEN VALVE CAUSES WASTEWATER SPILL AT AHUIMANU
(Wed., Jan. 18, 2012) – A broken valve along the Ahuimanu Force Main caused an estimated 5,000 gallon wastewater spill this morning.
The spill started at 5:55 a.m. and was contained at 6:45 a.m. The raw wastewater spilled onto ground along a stretch of
ENV cleaned, disinfected and deodorized the affected area and notified the state Department of Health. Warning signs will be posted alongside the affected areas.
