TRAFFIC ADVISORY: BRIDGE REPAIR ON MAPUMAPU ROAD

NOVEMBER 13-14, 2012

(Thu., November 1, 2012) − Department of Facility Maintenance Road Maintenance crews will repair Mapumapu Road Bridge, in Kahaluu near the intersection of Ahilama Road, on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 13 and 14, 2012.  Road Maintenance crews will be replacing the bridge’s deteriorated structural members.

The bridge will be closed to traffic between 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13.  On Wednesday, November 14, one lane will be open for contra flow traffic.  Motorists are advised to plan ahead to avoid traffic delays and the bridge closure.  Emergency vehicles will be accommodated during the bridge repair.
