By patching uneven and broken sidewalks visitors will enjoy a safer pedestrian travel around civic center grounds. This event is part of the “Safe Sidewalks” program, a collaboration between DFM and the District 50 Lions Club. The program is in its third year of making heavily traveled areas safer. The hard working volunteers contribute greatly to the City’s need for temporary sidewalk repairs until permanent repairs can be scheduled. - 30 - Contact: |
