HANAUMA BAY NATURE PRESERVE RESURFACING CLOSURE

EXTENDED TO DECEMBER 7

(Wed., December 5, 2012) − The resurfacing project at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve has been extended to include Friday,

December 7, 2012.  The beach and all scenic lookout areas will be closed.

            The resurfacing project, which began today, was originally expected to be completed by Thursday.  However, rain delays have extended the project completion date.  Weather permitting, Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve will re-open on Saturday, December 8, 2012.
