STORMTROOPERS TO COLLECT TOYS FOR TOTS

(Fri., December 7, 2012)—the 501^st Legion of Stormtroopers, a worldwide Star Wars costuming organization, will make a special appearance at Honolulu Hale in full costume to collect toys for the Toys for Tots program on December 14, from 6 to 9 p.m. Honolulu City Lights visitors are encouraged to bring both their camera and toys for this special event.

Those bringing toys should make sure they are new and unwrapped.

Since 1947, the United States Marine Corps has participated in the Toys for Tots Program to help make the holidays brighter for disadvantaged children.  All toys collected in Honolulu are distributed to local children nationwide.
