PALAMA MAKE-A-DIFFERENCE DAY THIS SATURDAY

 

KAPOLEI, HI – The City’s Storm Water Quality Branch of the Department of Environmental Services (ENV) is holding the Palama “Make-A-Difference Day” this Saturday, Oct. 12.

 

Volunteers should check-in by 8:30 a.m. at Kanoa Street by St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church to cleanup debris from Pua Lane, Kanoa and Palama streets.  The cleanup begins at 9:00 a.m. and last two hours.

 

ENV partners with businesses, schools, public officials, the state and military organizations.  The cleanups will provide educational materials on reducing trash.

           

Participants should dress to get dirty and bring the following:  water, hat, old covered shoes and sunscreen.  All participants must sign a release form to participate.
