Rules of Speaking:  Anyone wishing to speak is asked to raise their hand, and when recognized by the Chair, to address comments to the Chair.  Speakers are encouraged to keep their comments under 3 minutes, and those giving reports are urged to keep their reports under 3 minutes.  Please silence all electronic devices. 

 

Note:  The Commission may take action on any agenda item.  As required by the State Sunshine Law (HRS 92), specific issues not noted on this agenda cannot be voted on, unless added to the agenda.

IV.                APPROVAL OF MINUTES

a.   Special Meeting:  January 6, 2010

b.   Regular Meeting:  January 25, 2010

c.   Executive Session – Pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 92-4 & 92-5(a)(4) & (8) for the purpose of consulting with the Neighborhood Commission’s Legal Counsel on questions and issues pertaining to the Commission’s powers, duties, privileges, immunities and liabilities in relation to the review and approval of Executive Session minutes.

i.         January 6, 2010

ii.       January 25, 2010

 

V.                  COMMISSION BUSINESS

a.      Formation of Conference of Chairs PI Group or Committee.

i.    Executive Session – Pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 92-4 & 92-5(a)(4) & (8) for the purpose of consulting with the Neighborhood Commission’s Legal Counsel on questions and issues pertaining to the Commission’s powers, duties and privileges in relation to the: (1) assembly of the conference of chairs; and (2) formation of a permitted interaction group or committee to attend the conference of chairs."

b.      Rescheduling of Conference of Chairs.

c.      Filling of vacant seat(s) on the Kalihi-Palama Neighborhood Board No. 15 pursuant to Section 2-14-104(e) of the 2008 Neighborhood Plan.

d.   Recommendation to dismiss the complaint from Celeste Lacuesta (Complaint 0911-#23-18) filed on November 23, 2009 as the complaint does not meet the time requirements stated in Section 2-18-201(a)(3) of the 2008 Neighborhood Plan.

e.   Recommendation to dismiss the complaint from Victoria S. Cannon (Complaint 1003-#34-04) filed on March 9, 2010 as the complaint does not meet the time requirements stated in

      Section 2-18-201(a)(3) of the 2008 Neighborhood Plan.

f.    Consideration of approval of the “Neighborhood Commission Evaluation of the Audit and Task Force Report Recommendations” and transmittal to the Managing Director and others.

VII.               ANNOUNCEMENTS

a.   The next Regular Commission meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 26, 2010 at Honolulu Hale, Council Meeting Room, at 7:00 p.m.

Any individual wishing to attend a Neighborhood Commission meeting who has questions about accommodations for a physical disability or special physical need should call the NCO at 768-3710 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., at least 24-hours before the scheduled meeting.
