Speakers are encouraged to keep their comments under 3 minutes, and those giving reports are urged to keep their reports under 3 minutes. Please silence all electronic devices. 

 

Note:  The Commission may take action on any agenda item. As required by the State Sunshine Law (HRS Chapter 92), specific issues not noted on this agenda cannot be voted on, unless properly added to the agenda.

     7.1.  The 2011 Neighborhood Board System election voting period ends on Friday May 20 at

             11:59:59 P.M.  Eligible voters in districts with contested elections were mailed passcodes and     

             participation information by May 2.  The candidate profiles are posted online at

             http://www1.honolulu.gov/nco.  Voting may be done online, by telephone, or by walk-in

             accommodations at both Honolulu Hale and Kapolei Hale on Monday through Thursday from

             7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the May 2 to 20 period.  The election results are scheduled to be

             released on May 23 at the meeting noticed by this agenda.  The boards’ next two-year term

             begins on July 1.

 

    7.2.  The 2011 Installation Ceremony and other training activities for the newly elected board

            members are scheduled for the morning of Saturday June 18 at the Mission Memorial

            Auditorium, located to the Diamond Head side of Honolulu Hale.  All Neighborhood

            Commissioners, Neighborhood Board Members, and the general public are welcome to attend. 

            More details will be available soon.

 

    7.3.  The Neighborhood Commission’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 27,

            2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Honolulu Hale, Room 205 – the City Council Committee Meeting Room.
